பன்முக திறைமைகளை தன்னகத்தே கொண்ட, திரு. எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்கள், 

ஏற்கனவே காற்றில் கலந்துவிட்ட குரலோசை போதும் என்று, நம் மனம் கவர்ந்த பாடகர், எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் (SPB) முடித்துக் கொண்டு விட்டார். கரோனா, இந்த ஆண்டுகளில் ஏற்படுத்திய சோகம் அளவில்லாதது, எத்தனையோ விழிப்புணர்களில் இருந்தும்கூட, எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்களும் சிக்கிக்கொண்டதை ஏற்கமுடியவில்லை. 

கரோனா சுயகட்டுப்பாடு என்ற வகையில், வீட்டில் இருந்தபடி, எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்களே, இப்படி சொல்லியிருந்தார்.  இயற்கையை நாம் சீரழித்துவிட்டோம், அதன் பழிவாங்கல்தான் இந்த கரோனா எனவே இதை சபிக்காதீர்கள். இந்த பாதிப்பை உள்வாங்கிக்கொண்டு, இனிமேலாவது இயற்கையை சீரழிக்காத மாற்றத்தை நாம் ஏற்று செயல்படுத்தவேண்டும் என்று, தன் குரலை பதிந்திருந்தார்.

கரோனா பரவல் காரணமாக, வீட்டில் மன, உடல், பொருளாதார பாதிப்பில் இருந்த அவரின் ரசிகர்களுக்காக, தன் வீட்டிலிருந்தபடியே பாடல்களை பாடி, காணொளியாக சமூக தளத்திலும் தந்துகொண்டிருந்தார்.

ஆயிரமாயிரம் ரசிகர்களின் முன்னே பாடியிருந்த, அப்படி பாடவே பழக்கப்பட்டிருந்த தான், யார் தனக்கு முன்னே இருக்கிறார்கள், யார் ரசிக்கிறார்கள் என்பதை தெரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாத வகையில், இப்படி தனியாக பாடுவதைக்கூட தான் விரும்புவதாகவும், புது அனுபவமாகவும், இனியும் வருங்காலம் எப்படியெல்லாம் நம்மை மாற்றியமைக்குமோ என்றுகூட அவர் சொல்லியிருந்தார். 

 

தன்னுடைய 14 வயதிலிருந்து தன் குரலை பிறர் மகிழ தந்து, தன் திரைப்பயணத்தை தொடங்கியிருக்கிறார். தெலுங்கை தாய்மொழியாக கொண்டதால், ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் தமிழில் பாட, மெல்லிசை மன்னர், எம்.எஸ், விஸ்வநாதன் அவர்கள், தமிழ் கற்றுவிட்டு பிறகு பாடவா என்று அழைத்திருக்கிறார். எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் தெலுங்குவாடை இல்லாமல் பேச பாட தெரிந்தபிறகும் தயக்கத்தோடு, மெல்லிசை மன்னரை சந்திக்கவில்லை. ஆனாலும், அவரே எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியத்தை பார்த்து, ஏன் என்னை வந்து பார்க்கவில்லை என்று கோபித்துக்கொண்டு, முதல் பாடல் வாய்ப்பை தந்தார் என்று, எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் ஒரு மேடையில் சொல்லியிருந்தார். “அத்தானோடு இப்படி இருந்து எத்தனை நாளாச்சு” என்று “ஹோட்டல் ரம்பா” என்ற (வெளிவராத, பாடகி, எல். ஆர். ஈஸ்வரி அவர்களோடு பாடிய) திரைப்பட பாடலாக தொடங்கி, நிற்காத குரல் பயணம்.கின்னஸ் சாதனையோடு, 16 மொழிகளில், கிட்டதட்ட 40,000 மேலாக தொடந்திருக்கிறது.

70 ஆண்டுக்காலமாக, இந்திய மொழிகளில் பாடி, ரசிகர்களின் மனதை குளிர்வித்தவர். இசையே ஒரு மனிதனின் உணர்ச்சிகளுக்கு வடிகால் என்றாலும், அதனோடு பாடலும், குரலும் இணையும் பொழுது அதை, தனக்கு இன்னும் நெருக்கமாக ரசிகன் உணர்கிறான்.

இத்தனை உயரங்களை தொட்டிருந்தாலும், அந்த உயரத்தை, ஆளுமையை, சாதனையை தன் தலையில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல், மிக எளிமையாக தன்னை நிறுத்திக்கொண்டவர் எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம். பிறரை அடையாளப்படுத்துவதில் அவருக்கு நிகர் அவரே. பெரியவர்களிடம் காட்டும் மரியாதையும், இளைஞரோடு காட்டும் தோழமையும், குழந்தைகளிடம் காட்டும் அன்பும், ஊக்குவிப்பும் எல்லோரும் அறிவார்கள். 

கங்கை அமரன் ஒரு நேர்கானலில்,

எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் மாதிரி பிறரை மதிப்பதில் ஒரு ஆளை நான் வாழ்க்கையில் பார்த்ததே இல்லை. என்னமாதிரி உயரத்திலே இருக்காரு, எத்தனை ஆயிரம் பாட்டு பாடியிருக்காரு, உலகம்பூரா எஸ்பிபி என்று சொன்னாலே தெரிந்துவிடும். கொஞ்சம் கூட தலைக்கனம் இல்லாம ரொம்ப எளிமையா இருப்பாரு. இப்பவும் இருக்காங்களே, ஒரு பாட்டு பாடி, ஒரு படத்துலே வெளிவந்துட்டா போதும், ஆளை பிடிக்கமுடியாது, ஒரு மரியாதையும் தெரியாது. இவங்களெல்லாம் எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் காலை கழுவி, அதை குடித்தால் கூட புத்திவராது, என்று கோபமாக சொல்லியிருந்தார்.

இந்த பணிவு என்று சொல்லும் பொழுது இந்தக்காட்சி நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது. ஒரு தொலைகாட்சி நிகழ்ச்சியில், நடக்கவே தடுமாறும் நிலையில், எம்.எஸ். விஸ்வநாதனும், பி.பி. ஸ்ரீனிவாஸும் ஒருவர் காலில் ஒருவர் விழ, இருவரும் எழுந்து நீங்க என் காலில் விழலாமா? என்று இருவருமே சைகையால் கேட்டுவிட்டு, ஒருவரை ஒருவர் கட்டிக்கொண்டு சிரித்துக்கொண்டனர். அந்த அளவுக்கு மரியாதையும், பணிவும் கொண்டிருந்தனர். 

எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்களிடமிருந்த, இந்த பணிவும், பண்பும்தான், 70 ஆண்டுகளாக, பாடல்களுக்கும் மேலாக, ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்திருக்கிறது என்று சொல்லவேண்டும். அத்தகைய பண்பை நாம் பெற முடிந்தால் நல்லதே. 

எஸ்.பி. பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் குரல், தனித்த, புல்லாங்குழலில் காற்று நுழைந்து எழும் இசைபோல நயமானது. ஆண்மைக்கான கம்பீரம் என்றில்லாமல், ஆண்மைக்கான அன்பான குரல் இது. ஓய்வில்லாது ஒலித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த குரல் ஓய்வை தேடிக்கொண்டது. மனம் துடித்து, கதறி அழும் சோகம்தான், இயற்கையின் பாதையில் இது ஒரு நிலை. ஆனால் கரோனா தொற்றால் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டதுதான் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை.

45 நாட்களுக்கு மேலாக, மருத்துவமனையில் அவர் பட்டிருக்கிற  அவஸ்தைகளை, காணொளி, ஒளிப்படங்கள் வாயிலாக கண்டபோது, இந்த இம்சைகளுக்கு, மரணம் நல்லதே என்று தோன்றிவிட்டது.

Stopped working for commercial caricature service.

Dear ones! We stopped working and provide a caricature paintings you liked, adorable. We're really sorry.

The main reason for this, is that, we do not have knowledge and experience to the extent you know the art and painting.

Anyway a painting is a creation. Just as nature creates its creations. A creation is always completed piece. This is the truth.

The painter creates a painting. That is the completeness of his knowledge. But you are disgusted by the painter and the creation by saying, "You change this, change that, draw like this, draw like that, it is chubby, it is fat, slim, and curvy, not like me, looks like someone else". Yes, you can comment like this, why you are giving some money to the Artist.

In fact, does the artist draw from your photocopy you provided? Are you unaware of this fact?

Thus for every work he buys, for every person, if he continues to learn painting, what is the fate of that painter? So you okay to teach a art to the Artist?

Otherwise without this difficulty for you, the right method is to draw yourself.

WHAT’S YOUR REAL NAME AND ADDRESS ?

One’s name and address are so often asked for, just taken for granted, that they don’t geta second thought. But let’s give this identity a second thought now, together. My name is a symbol for ‘me’ as contrasted to ‘another’. My address is my location, usually on afairly permanent basis. Some would say, it’s ‘where I can be reached’, or ‘my house’.

My name and address are symbols of the present time and present space. The name and address indicate bounded (limited), particular identity and place. They indicate here vs.there; now vs. then; for us humans -- I vs. the other; for inanimate they mean ‘this’ vs.‘that’.

The genetic center is a characterized bio-magnetic domain, it is the ‘soul’ according to Swamiji’s terminology: it is my address in the fullest sense. In ordinary terms, my address indicates where I am located on earth. In science they speak of the address of a particle: it includes the time factor in addition to location in three dimensions. We say, I have a name and address; my address that is my genetic center not only pinpoints my location in space and time but also includes all my other parameters and qualities.

I can think of my body as the house of my soul – i.e. the characterized wave domain that is my personality. I’m the only and original tenant of this house; after death it will be useless and fall apart in sorrow and despair that I’ve gone. I built my house brick by brick from my inheritance and then added on to it over the years – for better and for worse -- and it is fit for none other than me.

Meanwhile, I’ve furnished the interior of this ‘house’ with all I have: my heirlooms and acquisitions; I’ve made it my home. Just like our concrete and brick homes, it is ‘permanent’ i.e. up to my lifetime. There are many rooms and I walk about in them all day. Sentimental objects, symbols, notes to myself, things of beauty, dirt and dust as well, junk that I’ve been trying to throw away since forever but just can’t seem to get rid of -- the whole mishmash of acquisitions from the past and vague dreams of the future. When my attention goes outside I watch the neighbors, chat with them, gossip, work and play.

But, just like a house in real life, I am not my house and the things I’ve put in it: I’m the owner, enlivener and enjoyer of the house: I’m the one for whom it all is there; I am the consciousness. If I just stop looking at the things I ‘have’, stop fidgeting with them and thinking about them, stop wondering about what the neighbors are up to, chatting with them, quarreling with them, stop exerting myself to ‘have’ or ‘get’ more things and experiences, and rather sit down quietly, I can then find myself in the Present Space.

The present of Now and Here is infinite in extension: it is VAST, so much bigger and greater than my house and full of all the beauty there is; all the things I have plus all that I don’t, all imaginable qualities and all places….sitting here I see all that lies outside my house and it’s staggering, almost too much, to behold.
